ABOUT CAROLINE BAILEY

‘From 1972 -76 I studied Printed Textiles at Manchester Polytechnic, graduating with a Ist Class B.A. (Hons) and an M.A. I taught part time for a few years before moving to paint full time and exhibiting widely in the U.K. In 1998 I became an elected member of The Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour. My work is inspired by a love of land and sea and the footprints of human activity where they meet. As a lover of colour flowers, textiles and still life are also a fundamental part of my work.’
